We are super excited for you to join YogAnga Retreat’s residential 2025 Āyāsa Vinyāsa YogAnga Abhyāsa 200 hours, Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Certificate Course, on the bank of the Ganga River in the foothills of the Himalayas, between Haridwar and Rishikesh in North India.

Our next Yoga Teacher Training India 2025 course begins with the new moon of February 10th and ends on the new moon of March 29th.

It is recommended you arrive some time before and you are welcome to stay some time after the 200hour YTT ends.

As deep as you dive, as transformational your journey will be.

Through lectures, discussions and essay writing, you will discover not only the path of yoga, it’s destination (the goal of yoga), who have been, are and may become your various guides (teachers and gurus) along the way. Most importantly you will discover where you are on this path and how to proceed towards your goal. Through understanding your own journey, you will be able to have a greater understanding of the various types of students you may encounter in your classes. And gain insights into how to adjust each session accordingly to individual students. Ultimately you will open and empty (purify) your self enough to receive all that your various guides (teachers and masters) may have to offer you.

Our comprehensive Yoga Alliance 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum will guide you through a transformational one month journey, indoctrinating you into an authentic traditional yogic lifestyle. Following the (seven) limbs of yoga, of Nath Yogi Svātmārāma and Rishi Gheranda, connect to the teaching of Matsyendranath, develop a personal sadhana and prepare yourself to teach others.

Under the guidance of our lead trainer YogArcharya Ganga Puri, and anatomy and alignment trainer Brahmananda Giri, along side his sisters Mandakini Puri and Alaknanda Puri, as well as other guest instructors, you will learn:

• Clinical Yoga (śatkarma / 6 cleansing kriyas)
• 56 asanas
• mudra
• pratyahara
• pranayama
• anatomy, physiology, observation and alignment

Our 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in India 2024 course also includes: opening and closing homa fire ceremonies, introductory lectures on Ayurveda, Yoga Philosophy, beginner’s Sanskrit, practical experience towards walking the path of a Yogi, and an end of training field trip to a historically important cave or temple.
